2nd Visit to H10 Itaca
We chose this hotel again after previously staying and being impressed with the location, standard and suitability.
The hotel is ideally located for the station, metro and bus routes and if you enjoy walking/exploring then its' a good base, away from the hustle and bustle just a pleasant walk of around 30 to 40 minutes to La Rambla, The Port and other attractions.
However, if walking isn't your thing then it's still good for travelling by Metro (easy to use and inexpensive) or jumping on the Tour Bus (27 euros for one day), covers Red/Blue & Green routes and a must for seeing the sights of Barcelona, hop on and off as many times as you like.
If you're just looking for a base, then it's great. We didn't eat in the hotel as there is an abundance of bars/cafes and restaurants in Barcelona the choice is amazing and some only a stride away from the hotel itself.
Recommendations for eating:- Beunos Aires off Passage de Gracia, La Tagliatella (chain) on top of Las Arenas(Bull ring), only 10 mins walk from hotel.
Only complaint about the hotel this time was an issue with hot water.
