“We had such a great time staying at Barbara’s cottage in the Seattle-Tacoma area. The place was absolutely charming—peaceful, cozy, and perfectly located for all the hiking we wanted to do. Barbara was an incredible host—super welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful, but also gave us plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time. “Dont stay here! The place is nice inside, but if you want to sleep, dont stay here. Train tracks are a block away and blare their horns all night long. There were 3 trains alone from 1-1:30am. I asked to cancel my second night stay and get a refund due to the fact that this noise issue is not disclosed in the posting. “The lake was beautiful, but the property didn’t feel very clean (stained cloth furniture, spider webs). The quality of the pots/pans was awful for what I paid for the rental fees and not much was provided for disposables like tissues, dish soaps. There were a lot of laundry pods, and the laundry room was very spacious.”
