Annual family mountain trip

My family goes every year to Blue Ridge, the last 2 years we have stayed at to different places in Ellijay. Enjoyed our stay this year tremendously

Great time

This was a lovely, large and wonderful property. Our group of 13 had a great time and the creek in front of the house was a huge bonus for the kids. We would definitely stay again!

Large family approved

Very large cabin right on the river. River is great for cooling off and relaxing. Cabin is very clean and well stocked. Had a great time.

New years mountain vacation

The property was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the space fir 3 family’s and fresh mountain air. Best time was hanging by the fire and listening to music. Very relaxing. Perfect getaway.

Mountain Memories

Unfortunate initial introduction- extremely rude gate guard. Local deer population greeted us along the narrow mountain road! Navigating the driveway was a thrill! The house was more than expected! Welcoming, beautifully decorated, wonderfully stocked kitchen. All ages of our family enjoyed it immensely!

Family adventures

The whole family absolutely loved our time spent on property. The cabin had everything we needed to make great memories. Seeing the deer throughout the community made the drive up the mountains road worth it for this Florida family. Hummingbirds visited every morning while enjoying our coffee on the balcony. Couldn’t ask for anything more, except to stay longer.

Heaven

This place is amazing! We spent 7 nights with our family and had a great time. The cabin inside was very clean. I needed to contact the host for a few items and very responsive. The river was easy to get in and enjoy! There were six of us and always felt you had space. Huge cabin inside! Will be back next summer and again, I would recommend this to everyone!!!!

Sweetest Host Ever!

Our Christmas gift to our grown children and grandchildren was renting this cabin in Ellijay. We had 9 Adults and 10 kids (ages newborn to 10) and had a fabulous time. The cabin is beautiful. The extras (toys, dishes, firewood, etc.) were incredible. The fireplace on the porch with a view of the river was amazing!

Beautiful cabin on the river

Stayed for a weekend with 6 adults and 5 kids. Cabin was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. Had lots of toys, and cooking supplies, and towels. We had no problem with the dirt road and driveway with our van and small sedan. Being able to walk down and splash in the river was awesome, but they was some mild climbing involved to get in and out. Pools and parks of the resort were also great, but that was extra actions/fees. Host was communicative and helpful and checkin and out was easy

Cleaning

We were disappointed with some of the way the place was cleaned. I asked for a refund on the cleaning since we had to clean for over an hour before enjoying the place. I was told it was a different place to call. I feel if your the owner you should have the responsibility to make sure it was done or compensate the renter who has pictures the cleaning was not acceptable

Hub for our mountain bike adventure

The overall experience was great. Neighborhood is quiet and well kept. We were a party of 12 adults. We used this house as a hub to check out local mountain bike trails while others in our party checked out wineries, shopped, and hiked. The only critique is the driveway. The pictures don’t do justice to the incline and lack of space for multiple vehicles. The host was excellent at communicating and making sure our needs were met.

Home Away From Home

This property was a home away from home for myself and my extended family for our Thanksgiving vacation. After familiarizing ourselves with the ins and outs of everything we settled in and felt right at home. There were 10 of us ranging in age from 9 to 75 and the cabin had plenty of room for us to feel comfortable for the week. The neighborhood was secluded and quiet and offered tranquility and nature. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything (and more) that we needed for cooking twice a day and Thanksgiving. The fireplace on the porch and the hot tub were two amazing features! Being from Florida we needed time and practice adjusting to the one lane road and steep driveway but they were not deterrents to us having the best week ever. The owners were very responsive and great hosts. We would love to stay again in the future!

Fabulous host and communicator

This property is nestled by a creek. The view from the porch was spectacular! The personal touches or the icing on the cake though. We had children with us of varying ages from 3 to 11 and there was something for all of them to do. We found that a chair was broken and reached out to the owner on VRBO. We received a very quick response that included an apology and was very appreciative of the information. I know that several people have commented on the steep driveway. FYI - you’re in the mountains!!! There are hills in the mountains!!! I and my family had no issues getting in or out of the driveway as long as you’re driving slow. I hope that you rent this cabin and enjoy it as much as we did. It was a beautiful, peaceful place! My grown children and their children already want to know if we can go back for Thanksgiving or Christmas this year!

Family vacation

Good relaxing week away from everyone and everything. Floated, played games, and spent time together. We noticed on day three, the kids had not turned the TV on once!

Wonderful stay for large groups

This home was perfect for our large group of 13. Each Mom/Dad pair had their own room and the kids slept in the Bunk room and Game room. King bed and private bath on top floor. Queen bed and private bath on main floor. Queen bed with shared bath in basement where the bunk room is located. Lots of windows on all three floors so you have a great view from anywhere. Owner provides lots of games, videos, DVDs, tubes, and extra towels, plus plenty of laundry detergent and kitchen supplies. Fire pit and hot tub were used even in the Summer. I honestly have zero complaints about our stay. The only suggestion to make it even better is to add a shear curtain above the tubs so you have a little more privacy in the Bathroom. Overall, wonderful stay and would come back.

We had understood that tubing would be accessible from the cabin.We found tubes but they was very dirty and we was unable to locate a place to access the river and a take out place. The cabin was clean on the inside but the porch really needs to be cleaned.The steps going in is very slippery when wet.

Living room furniture uncomfortable for sitting and watching tv and the bench table was so uncomfortable that we didn’t stay long to spend time with each other. Driveway? Not way to turn around. It’s either back up all the way or back down all the way
