“We always enjoy staying in our riverside room with balcony when we visit Peterborough. The room is clean and the beds comfortable. The view is great. Friendly staff. And there’s a great outdoor patio/bar/restaurant right on site with live entertainment. I can even cast a line from the property for a little Bass fishing. Dining opportunities are right across the street and free music concerts with first class acts during the summer are featured Wednesdays and Saturday nights at the park next……

“Our room had a very comfortable king bed. There was a spacious, spotless jetted tub in the room and an accessible shower large shower in the washroom. It was very clean and quiet. There is a nice pool downstairs and a buffet breakfast is included. Very reasonable price and very friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be staying there again”

“Needs a lot of work. Shower doesn’t work. Room smelt like dory laundry. Falling apart. The owners seem nice I hope they can get it together and fix this place up.”

“The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows. There is lovely, tiny balcony off the kitchen, facing the back garden. I stayed for just one evening and was quite comfortable. The place suited me perfectly. A must is to walk around the acre or so garden. Margaret is a lovely, friendly host. She recommended a decent restaurant just a couple of hundred metres away. I sampled the……

“The Motel 6 is ideal for a budget traveler like myself. It offers good-sized rooms with large bathrooms and ample storage space. The Wi-Fi was reliable and very solid. The staff were great! The location is in the east end of Peterborough but is on the main drag, Lansdowne Street. Hang a left out of the parking lot and within five minutes you have a choice of two shopping malls, every type of food you crave and easy access to Ottawa or Toronto. I was in town to play golf so I didn't venture……
