"The resort needs to do something about their keys. It doesn't take much for them to not work and have to be re-keyed. Getting them next to any type of electronics (phone, watch, etc) causes them to not function. We had two keys and between them we had to have them re-keyed 3 times"

"Rustic hunting lodge perfect for a large family gathering. The kids had the best time running around and making smores, we went on beautiful hikes in Shawnee National Forest, enjoyed the hot tub, and had plenty of space to cook for our family of 20. Plenty more space too!"

"It was a beautiful home on an ideallic lake setting. The little town of Carmi was close by for any essentials you may need. Also about an hour from the Garden of Gods and Cave in Rock. The home was so peaceful and stocked with all the necessities!"

"Very friendly and nice people. They brought tomatoes and corn out of their garden for us and checked in on how we were doing and had lots of supplies in the fridge and on the table. Would recommend staying there anytime"

"Host was pretty responsive and kind. We did have some issues with double booking, but the host fixed it. The main issue we had wasn’t with the home or host. The VRBO displayed the incorrect address and it took us an hour out of our way. The home itself was clean. They had a lot of kitchen supplies and equipment. The garage area was very neat. It does need one more working heater. The blackstone needs a good cleaning. The darts were broken. So some amenities need some TLC. The location was central to where we needed it for our family, but stores are about a 15 minute drive to and 15 minute drive back. We liked all the sitting area in the living room. They need a couple TV’s in the bedrooms. They had lots of clean towels, pillows, and blankets. We enjoyed our stay overall. "
