"We stayed at the Smokehouse Lodge and had a terrible experience in our original room. The check in process was smooth and being transferred to another room was smooth but that was the extent of the good parts. Our original room seemed clean on entry but there was piss in the toilet which should have been the first red flag. We just flushed it and said no big deal but when we tried to go to bed we ran into more issues. The sheets felt a little gritty and when we got out our flashlights we realized there was dirt and glass shards towards the foot area of the bed. Our sheets had not been cleaned. I immediately returned to the check in desk and because it was already midnight we decided to stay and get a different room. The next room was cleaned thankfully but the mattress was insanely uncomfortable. The front desk worker said they were having trouble getting good cleaning maids but that is no excuse - if a room hasnt been cleaned appropriately it should not be rented out. I would recommend staying at a different hotel."

"Everything was very nice. Clean, friendly staff. The only problem was the elevator wasn’t working. We were given a room on the 2nd floor so only one flight of stairs and only one night we were staying. So it wasn’t a big deal. "

"Our room was very clean and roomy. Coffee and cups were provided in the room as well as a microwave and small fridge. The staff were very helpful and always made sure we had what we needed. Parking is right in front of the room and you are within walking distance from the town square and distillery."

"This was a great find a couple years ago. When you’re doing the long drive through the mountains around Chattanooga, Manchester, Tennessee is a great place to stop for the night. The owners go out of their way to make sure everything is convenient and they have breakfast ready for you in the morning after you’ve ordered it the night before. Highly recommend them and will be back!"

"Staff at check in and Staff the next day for breakfast and check out were amazing!!! Very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay again next time I travel through there."
