“We stayed in a one-room cabin, upon opening the door, we were overwhelmed by the very strong musky smell. The cabin was filthy, with boxes left under the table from prior guests. The room was dusty, with a dirty bathtub and spiderwebs. We did not sleep well due to the smell of the cabin and the fear of spiders, as evident by a spider in the bathroom sink.”

“The front desk person was very nice. The room in the hotel seemed to be clean. However, the room had a very strong smell when you walked in and it smelt like urine. I don’t know where the smell was coming from but it was strong. It’s a decent hotel. It’s just older and you can see they keep it clean, but there are no modern amenities.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was fully furnished and exactly as described in the listing. The cabin was exceptionally clean and appeared to be new. The amenities were a wonderful bonus and included a charcoal grill, paddle boat, fishing poles, hot tub, washer/dryer and fire pit. “We loved our stay at deer lick falls! It was a nice home away from home. It was nice to have the amenities such as a stove, oven, grill and a washing machine and dryer. We traveled with two children and anyone that knows these are a must! I was however disappointed that the “kids play area” was indeed not in the area we stayed. It was over in the waters edge property which required us to get in the car and go find it. Next time I will stay in the waters edge property if available to be closer by……
