Really enjoyed my solo visit. Spent several hours at the restaurant next door enjoying gourmet food. The staff is very attentive. Loved the Thomas Jefferson room. Wish it had been chillier so I could enjoy the fireplace. I’ll need to come back again in the winter. The bathroom as a whole was actually bigger than I expected after reading the reviews. The shower was small as expected but still bigger than many I found in Europe. Tips: From the parking lot, the house on the left is where you lodge. The restaurant is on the right with all the signage. You can reserve a table using the OpenTable app.

Very cute 1790 inn with very friendly staff. Because it is over 200 years old however you can hear your neighbors very clearly so be aware. Overall positive experience as my neighbors were not too loud but I think i got lucky.

Wonderful place to stay & enjoy the historic home (Duling Kurtz House) and fantastic restaurant all within driving distance to historic sites, Art museums and gardens in the Brandywine valley. Very kind innkeeper and wish we could get back there more often

We had a heater in the room for warmth, which was good. Bed was comfortable, but hard to get into as it is so high. The staff were very pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent.

Nice stay at a quaint little place. Convenient, clean, quiet, and private. Nice place to stay over if you don't want to feel like your in one of those chain motels and simply want privacy and quiet. We did not visit the restaurant but simply popped in late after work and then went out to breakfast in town.

Very nice, clean, historic, and quiet Inn. The property needs landscaping attention. Small bathroom. Bed was comfortable, yet two poster beds were put together to make a King. One of our lamps didn’t work. Coffee, tea, breakfast bars, fresh fruit and ice were available to guests. Very pleasant staff.
