"Right now, they are doing some renovations, so things are probably not quite up to par. The breakfast was not bad. Part of the resort fee was applied and we also received two cocktail vouchers instead of a bottle of wine, which we used for appropriately sized breakfast bloody mary and an mimosa. We split the Heathman breakfast which was plenty for us to enjoy, since we are not big breakfast eaters. They asked how we liked our eggs (over easy), but they came out omlette style, so slight communication issue, but not a big deal. We enjoyed it anyhow. Staff in kitchen and at front were appropriately pleasant and kind, but seemed a bit "stillted", which is probably more appropriate to the stressors of the world and economy atm. We don't not blame them for being not genuinely enthusiastic about working, especially in the service industry. We would stay there again, amenities are nice, our low rate room, was no view, a little loud with the air system, but overall a pleasant, stylish room, comfortable bed and bath."

"We have stayed at many Holiday Inns over the years. This one is shabby. The carpets in the hallways and the rooms are disgusting. The chairs in the dining area are falling apart. There was trash under the beds. I read many reviews so I expected it to be the usual standard of a Holiday Inn, but it most definitely is not. Also, be aware that you have to pay to park, even for one night."

"Horrible experience in the hotel’s restaurant. Very long wait, when there were only a few tables occupied. Food never arrived and had to complain. Once they did bring the food, it was not complete and never did get completed. Comping the meal was not good enough when the whole group was not fed. Hotel didn’t do much other than say sorry. I do not recommend. "
