“Very cool establishment. Don't expect flat floors and modern construction but a very interesting historic building. A great change of pace from a hotel. Although we didn't dine at the restaurant we did have the bread pudding, and it was excellent. Everyone we spoke to was very helpful and went out of their way to answer questions and make us feel welcome.”

“A code was given for the front door, which was already unlocked. A physical key was picked up to access the bedroom wings. All of those doors remained unlocked during our stay. A key code was given for our room which did work and locked but the door itself was not very secure. You could see into the hall through a crack between the door and door frame. The walls were also very thin as we could hear our neighbors participating in adult activities. The TV was advertised as a smart tv. It did have...

“Great rustic cabin! We came to town for a show, at the Timber Rocks amphitheater and to explore Ohiopyle State Park. The location was absolutely perfect! The cabin is hidden behind some tall pines which was nice for privacy. The cabin was fairly rustic but it was very clean. We had a great stay and would be happy to return in the future.”

“The location is central to many places in the area. The access to the room is through some ramshackle steps that made me wonder if they would hold up. The fixtures are from the 1990s. The hot tub has hot water, but minimal pressure. If you are expecting to be greeted by hotel staff, you won't. The continential breakfast is do-it-yourself coffee. Three stars.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and could even hear live music from across the street. The house is a short drive to Ohiopyle were we went hiking and white water rafting.”

“The place is interesting, but it’s old. I’m sure it was once lovely when horse drawn carriages were the thing. Now there’s a highway with trucks and cars wizzing down a mountain at speeds well over 55, and you’ll hear every one of them all night long!”
