“This was an excellent stay; Alma is a smaller hotel with a unique vibe. The room was furnished very nicely and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was very quite and clean. It was not beat up or worn out; everything had a high end and new feel. The rooftop patio and restaurant were great and the location is ideal in old San Juan. “Stayed for 5 days and 4 nights for my boyfriend's birthday. The room was very clean. The staff was so nice! The amenities were amazing! We did have a small issue getting towels for pool but a staff member was very helpful with that. We were very close to everything, maybe 8 minutes from the beach. We rode scooters from the hotel to get there. The shuttle was very helpful as well and helped us save money. I would definitely recommend but please be aware of the $30 a day fee.”

“Beautiful property right at the edge of busy Old SJ. Close enough that everything was just a short walk, but a little further so you miss most of the street revelers at night. Beds were comfortable, the place was clean and relaxing. The owner was great with answering questions. There is a small 24h patking garage (la Cochera) on the next block. Stop and ask about a spot even if the sign says the garage is full (they found us a spot).”
