This quaint place is perfect for stop-overs traveling through Flagstaff or anyone staying longer and checking out local sites. We stayed one night with my 2 yr old tho the couch could make a small bed for another child or two. The back is open forest with a hiking path, allowing one to hike as quickly as they can get shoes on. There’s a ton of privacy and the owners are minimally intrusive. They are very accommodating for the delicious and large breakfast they bring you at your requested time in the morning, accommodating all sorts of requests and diet types while using the eggs and veggies from their farm and local artisan products. Such a treat and for an insanely well-priced experience!!
I rarely leave reviews but this was one of my best stays. I couldn’t recommend this BnB more. The place was cozy with. a beautiful forest in the backyard. Marlene and Steve are wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome as soon as we got there. She is also an incredible cook. She accommodated our dietary redirections and made us the most amazing breakfast. We can’t wait to go back.
Small, cozy guest room seperate from the main home. Very peaceful. Owners are very nice. Served a nice, healthy homemade breakfast! You can go out the back gate of the property and you're literally in the forest! Beautiful! Very much enjoyed our stay!
What I liked:
Quiet area, with access to hiking trails behind property. Wonderful breakfast served every morning.
Friendly and attentive, and not bothersome.
What I didnt like:
Internet did have some issue when I first got there, but that was an internet provider issue and was resolved by the next day.
I enjoyed the quaintness of the b and b, as well as the owners and Coconino area behind the room. Breakfast was fabulous. The only downside was couch was uncomfortable, bed and shower too small, but overall, very nice. Loved the french press coffee, the chickens and the fresh eggs for breakfast.
The B&B was 20 feet from the hen house and the backyard was forested with hiking trails. Very private. We like settings that is not hotel-like or on main roadways.
Our hosts were wonderful- very helpful and responsive.
We would stay here again when in Flagstaff.

Thank you Joan. Nice reviews like yours help to build our business.
A cozy, comfortable suite in a quiet rural setting. Wonderful hosts who provided a wholesome breakfast with outstanding coffee. We will probably visit them again.
The place was amazing and not at all what we expected. There is a little guest house out behind their residence that backs up to the national forest. Our dog was treated like family and loved wandering the woods. The breakfast the next morning was delicious with homemade nut bread and yogurt and items from her garden. We would definitely visit again if traveling through Flagstaff.

If you are concerned about covid safety stay away from this place. Owner doesn't believe in it and pushes guests to do the same.
If this isn't a concern for you here are the pros/cons:
Pros:
-Super amazing breakfast
-Owner works with you on check in time
-Cute coutyard
-Good hiking trail immediately behind property
-Dart board
-Good sized bedroom, livingroom, and kitchen
Cons:
-Not the cleanest dust on some stuff
-Small bathroom
-Furniture and decor is old and some are damaged
-It's a one bedroom bnb in a mobile home area

Dear Guests, This is in reply to the above review that you wrote after your one night stay at Elden Trails B&B.
Thank you for staying with us and for alerting people to the fact that we at Elden Trails (Steve and Marnie) have a view of the "covid" situation that diverges from your view. Our only apology is that we did not inform you of this prior to your stay so that you could cancel your reservation. We have been in business for about ten years and have had many, many guests over this past year who have expressed great relief to have a break from the social isolation, mainstream "science". medicine, government and media confusion and fear that is so prevalent today. On our part, it is not a belief about what is going on, but rather, a knowing based in years of education, work in medicine, multiple other job and life experiences, and an understanding of the history of the past hundred or so years. You say you wear a mask because you feel a duty to protect others. We say we will never wear a mask because of the harm they cause, particularly to elders who may already be isolated and may have preexisting health problems which are aggravated by the mask; and particularly to young children for whom the masks cause irreparable harm. This "virus", whether it is manufactured or real is not a threat to children or to most adults; and for sure it does not warrant the draconian measures taken worldwide or the suppression of nontoxic, effective cures and immune system supports. We invite you again (as we did before you left) to discuss this further.
As for your comment that our furniture is "old", other people might want to look at the article about Elden Trails Bed and Breakfast in the October 2020 issue of Arizona Highways Magazine. I believe they use the word "charming" to describe ET B&B.
Excellent, super-quiet place. Lovely accomodations and wonderful hosts! We plan to visit again this year, when we have more time to stay, and will most definitely rent this BnB as our first choice.

Amazing mountain house
Had such an amazing and memorable experience. Place was unbelievably quaint and cozy. We had the fortune of having fresh snow on the ground which only added to the place's charm. Next morning's breakfast alone was worth the price of admission. Steve and Marnie are true pros and superhosts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Marnie and Steve were super sweet and really made us feel welcome and comfortable.

Arizona trip at B&B
If a guest has a disability or health condition it is not place to stay a very steep walk up the drive way as well as other steps to go up to the room. Not handicapped accessible. Breakfast had hair in food the two morning we tried it so told them we did want more breakfast. I was recovering from hip replacement so it was difficult to get around. If i had know the steep climb to get to room would not have booked
This is the place if you want no frills and amazing breakfast with the best concierge/cook. Marnie is the best!!!!
The park trails are accessible from your room!!!

Thank you Pedro! You two are a delight and it is great to have guests who really appreciate what we do here at Elden Trails.
Breakfast was the best, ever, according to my husband, owners were gracious and accommodating. Nice view of the woods and walking trail out of our window. Shower was a bit small, but the suite was spacious.
Such a sweet and cozy spot to stop on a road trip! My dog and I loved having trails to explore right out the door and breakfast was DELICIOUS!

This was more like staying with good friends than in paid accommodations. The studio is snug and very comfortable, there was a wonderful, homemade gourmet breakfast, and plenty of trails to explore right behind the house. Steve and Marnie are doing a wonderful job. We would definitely stay again.

Cozy studio with very accommodating hosts - Marnie and Steve. Great home cooked breakfast with local flavourful ingredients. Very quiet location, near local sites. A very enjoyable stay!
Did not realize that I had to pay $40.00 each for my grandchildren which made a very short stay very expensive. Breakfast was wonderful and the owners were very pleasant.
