“My room with private bath and kitchenette was very nicely decorated and clean. These are older structures which is part of their charm. This is West Texas after all. A/C and heating unit kept the interior very comfortable. Some days were hot, some cold during my visit. I was able to prepare microwave food items and keep fruits and vegetables fresh in the little fridge. Amenities include great ground coffee, dish soap and sponge, ice bucket and bathroom toiletries. “Door was not easy to lock with doorknob lock and that was an issue since there was no deadbolt. No person at location for check in. It took a trip across town to get a room key from the desk guy of another hotel. Rustic is the vibe they were shooting for, but I would just call the overall condition old and tired. Expedia would not let me post the picture I took of the chair in the room that looked more like a refugee from a landfill that a piece of hotel furniture.”
