“Fantastic cabin very close to town and boat ramps.Not 1 complaint ! The place is amazing with a pond and a large property. Interior has amazing woodwork. Very quiet, private, and secure.Gated entrance. We had 4 trucks with boats attached and fit in the driveway. Well lit areas for entertaining or in our case rigging rods and reels for fishing. This is a special place if you are coming to fish the James River. Just an all around perfect place. We will be back again next year !!”

“Captain Ron met us to check in. Very nice and helpful. The boat is docked in a private, peaceful area. You can hear some distant traffic noise and occasional faint train, but otherwise very quiet. The boat is older, with ongoing repairs and painting, but was clean and cozy. Has a large, full shower with hot water and a toilet that is similar to RV toilets. At the top of the dock is a building with full bathrooms and "regular" flushing toilets, as well as laundry facilities. The kitchen is……

“It was great for our weekend stay. Close to everything in Petersburg. ”

“This was a nice get away for my husband, me and our two dogs. The marina is inside a gated community in a nice area of Richmond, about 30min drive downtown with lots to do locally. We would love to stay again next time we are in town, the river is so peaceful and relaxing.”

“We liked the coziness of the boat, the views of the river, the surrounding areas were beautiful. The only negative thing we could say was that due to the ran/wind the boat creaked and it made it hard to sleep for one of our nights.”

“Everything was accurate with the listing. The only thing that was an issue was parking for three cars forced us into the neighbors area on the street since the drive way was inconvenient and off a main road. The yard gate was loose and off centered which was solved by us wrapping rope to prevent our dogs from leaving but may be an issue for less prepared individuals.”
