Discover Lewis and Clark history at the Verendrye Museum, where artifacts tell stories of early explorers and Native American cultures. Nearby Oahe Dam offers excellent fishing for walleye and pike, while the riverfront trails provide scenic views of the Missouri River.
Great motel with one exception, the rooms have lg TVs which have a very dark screen do to what lg calls global dimming, the desk person brought up the master remote and there is no way to fix the dark screen. She said they have complaints constantly about the dark screens. I ended up watching tv using my phone.

This is an older property but fairly nice. It was advertised as free WI-FI but that was not the case. The owner did set me up with a hotspot to use while I was there. That was much appreciated since I had many hours in the cabin. All in all I would recommend staying here. Keep in mind it’s a cabin so not a luxury room.
