“Tyst och lugnt med magisk utsikt. Maten på restaurangen var en av de godaste! Kyparen duktig på engelska och väldigt professionell. Vi tyckte det var synd att dom hade stängt på måndagar. Frukosten är god, men den som ingår är på tok för söt. Yoghurt med granola och honung, två olika bakelser, bröd (fullkorn och hembakat) men med pålägget sylt. Gott kaffe. Sitter man inomhus är utsikten tyvärr lite dold av smutsiga fönster samt hög placering av fönstrena. Rummet var fint, men vi saknade balkong.……

“It's the second night staying at the same hotel after a day trip of hiking at Cinque Terre. Again it's nice to have a hotel nearby the railway staion after a whole day of up and down trekking. With the train pass, I could even go back to the hotel for a shower, change my clothes and go back to Cinque Terre for sunset and a nice dinner.”

We easily parked our car just before Varnazza (they don't allow you to drive in), there is one parking lot that is reasonable and they shuttle you in. “This is an amazing property located slap bang in the centre of La Spezia old town with restaurants, bars, cafés and independent shops on the doorstep. We had the duplex suite with a large lounge-diner area and bathroom downstairs, then a bedroom with massive bath tub and a further bathroom upstairs. The finish and cleanliness are exceptional with the room serviced daily. Despite the size of the apartment, there isn’t a kitchen but plenty of affordable places within a minutes walk. I think the……
