The hotel is very conveniently located for most things in Durham. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful all of the time. They were all quite courteous and helped make our stay enjoyable. We were there for eight nights so we were able to get a much better feel for the staff and the amenities they provided. We love staying at Home2 Suites. The rooms are clean and spacious; my (adult) child has a significant food allergy, so the convenience of washable dishes (and dishwasher), full-sized refrigerator, and microwave are well worth paying a little extra. The gym and indoor pool are also nice features (that we did not partake of, haha!) We also really like the hot chocolate bar and the afternoon cookies! We were given a room that was occupied and immediately returned to the front desk. The response should have been, "I'm so sorry, let me take care of that" or "sorry for the inconvenience", but instead, the room was called to verify that it was occupied. It was late at night, we were tired, and the last thing we needed to do was to walk back to the front desk! Do better, please.

The lounge and entrance area were beautiful. My room had a small balcony. The pool was crystal clear with perfect water temperature.

Free shuttle to Duke Univ Hospitals. Very helpful staff. HH members receive free snack. Restaurant located onsite.

My husband had eye surgery the morning we had to check in. We went to the University Inn hours before check in to pay for our room; which we realized would not be ready. But the wonderful woman at the front desk said she would call us when the room was ready; and she did! It was a relief for my husband to get in the room and rest after his procedure. That was going above and beyond!

Without a doubt, this is a amazing hotel, we felt like the staff was welcoming their family. I honestly couldn't think of anything that wasn't fine. Location is convenient to Duke Hospital, short drive, but is a world away from the crazy traffic around the hospital. I am so glad I decided on this hotel.

Lots of space for my family of 5. We only stayed one night but could have stayed longer. Loved the walk in closet, separate toilet room from shower. There was also an indoor pool which my boys enjoyed. Check in was easy and the lady who checked us in was so wonderful and helpful, I wish I remembered her name but I think it started with an S. Thank you for a great stay!

Definitely enjoyed our stay! Much nicer than expected. Stayed only one night, the DPAC and many restaurants were very close. Great breakfast as wrll! I would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed this property. The room and common areas were clean and well maintained. The breakfast options were fabulous - would definitely stay again.

Great front desk girls!! They were all helpful in helping us with the transit system! They gave us directions and told us where to change stops. So helpful in DC!! Also gave us directions to casino not too far away. The room was a decent size. Bed was fine but pillows were hard as a rock! Room was pretty clean and grounds were nice. We would stay at this one again. It did need more parking and it was easy in and out. Also breakfast was not fancy but you could have waffles, cereal, bagels and...

It was nice and everyone was very pleasant and helpful.
