We love staying at Home2 Suites. The rooms are clean and spacious; my (adult) child has a significant food allergy, so the convenience of washable dishes (and dishwasher), full-sized refrigerator, and microwave are well worth paying a little extra. The gym and indoor pool are also nice features (that we did not partake of, haha!) We also really like the hot chocolate bar and the afternoon cookies!

The response should have been, "I'm so sorry, let me take care of that" or "sorry for the inconvenience", but instead, the room was called to verify that it was occupied. Without a doubt, this is a amazing hotel, we felt like the staff was welcoming their family. I honestly couldn't think of anything that wasn't fine. Location is convenient to Duke Hospital, short drive, but is a world away from the crazy traffic around the hospital. I am so glad I decided on this hotel.

My husband had eye surgery the morning we had to check in. We went to the University Inn hours before check in to pay for our room; which we realized would not be ready. But the wonderful woman at the front desk said she would call us when the room was ready; and she did! It was a relief for my husband to get in the room and rest after his procedure. That was going above and beyond!

Lots of space for my family of 5. We only stayed one night but could have stayed longer. Loved the walk in closet, separate toilet room from shower. There was also an indoor pool which my boys enjoyed. Check in was easy and the lady who checked us in was so wonderful and helpful, I wish I remembered her name but I think it started with an S. Thank you for a great stay!
