Full Throttle Speedway

The location of the room was not good. It was above the garage exit. The second floor looked unsafe. The balcony door could not be closed and was broken.

Breakfast: no grits but cinnamon muffins were good. Bananas looked great on the outside. Half of the banana was good on the inside. Rooms: Times must be hard. The front desk clerk has to come to your room to jiggle the cord behind if you want to watch TV. No liners in trashcans. Ant infested room. Trashcan was put together with cardboard. Clogged sink, drains slow. Refrigerator programmed to only stay on 2 hours and off 8 hours. We learned to check the fridge every time we walked past after initial food spoiled. Staff are courteous but helpless. No ant spray. Could only spray disinfectant on ants and wipe with a cloth. My husband killed the spider himself. I could have gone to the store and purchased spray in the 3 hours it took them to send someone. If the kind maintenance guy is not at work, everyone else is helpless. He even used the shop vac because they have no ant spray. He wanted to rinse the trashcan and that's when he discovered it was held together with cardboard. Some are non English speaking, yet kind. But they are not given spider/bug spray to use in the room. They just scratch and clean in that environment. The hotel pay a pesticide company to come out a few times a year, but not when you need him, I was told. I was so disappointed. I almost offered to go to Lowes for them. Can't blame the staff.

Our hotel stay was very disappointing. The room had an unpleasant odor, the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, and the pillows were thin and poor quality. The overall cleanliness of the room also could have been much better. The experience became even worse because of intoxicated guests causing disturbances. Glass was broken, property was damaged, and one intoxicated man was urinating outside near the patio. The police had to be called, and management became involved. The entire situation felt chaotic and unsafe. Unfortunately, this was not the clean, comfortable, or relaxing hotel stay we expected, and we would not choose to stay here again.
