The staff was helpful. The location was good and the room was clean. The breakfast pastries were good but no protein or meat. The decor was a bit odd, but fine. There was a giant log in the hallway of my floor and some weird lighting and artwork, but as an artist myself I would rather have something odd like this than boring. The room I was in had an odd layout (the shower was glass on both sides and one side of the glass looked into the bedroom part with a curtain available.) There were also some stairs in my room from the bed to the bathroom. It was fine but if you have any mobility issues and use the bathroom at night please be aware as the floor finish is a tiny bit slippery in the night if you aren't paying attention. The bedding was nice and smelled fresh. My particular room was over/near a restaurant and near the street on the 2nd floor. In the evening my room was a bit loud and I had to fall asleep with noise cancelation headphones but late at night and early in the morning the noise was not there. The value/price was good for the location. Sadly I don't know if I would stay there again just because of the noise, or maybe I would ask for a quiet room when checking in.

The hotel was wonderful; very clean and modern and the entire building is well-kept and elegant. Our room was super clean and the linens and towels were luxurious. Furniture and kitchen area in good taste and was well arranged. The building is old, solid, beautiful and very quiet. We enjoyed the view of the large tree out our window and the garden area at the front of the hotel, and the quiet street. The location is excellent. We arrived from YUL via the 747 bus and it was then an easy walk to the hotel. It was easy to get to Victoria Square Metro station to access other areas of Montreal. It was easy to walk to the Vieux Port area and through Downtown; whatever route we took was pleasant with so many beautiful buildings. A clean city where everyone was kind to us. We would stay at Eurostars again and will recommend to our friends. We have fallen in love with Montreal! and Canada!
