Best hotel in Montreal, really conveniently located halfway between the museum's/Mont Royal and halfway to the old town. The area around the building (particularly as you walk towards Notre Dame) could do with sprucing up, but the hotel itself felt like a safe haven. I would definitely recommend upgrading to a suite!

Very nice historic building located very near Notre Dame. Great location, great staff and a very large room. Attached restaurant was also excellent. Would definitely stay again if visiting Old Montreal.
