Rundown but they are trying to restore I think? Doorknob literally fell off when we turned it. Their dogs are running around inside so you have to be careful to not let them out. No shower or blow dryer in the room. Floors filthy and I got a burr in my foot trying to step into the bathtub to rinse my feet off! Lighting terrible unless you open curtains to look out on balcony that is falling apart. Buffet breakfast we were told to be there at 9:30 (several times) at 9:50 we were served a plate with a waffle, a couple of berries, and a sausage link. No buffet! Tea or coffee to drink. Not even regular water or ice. My partner ate both of our plates since I don’t eat waffles or sausage or drink tea or coffee and the waffle was tiny. I would have been fine with water & toast but not available. For the price I could have stayed anywhere else and been far happier. While the house is lovely and the hostess is very personable, the Breakfast part of the Bed and Breakfast was very disappointing. The Hotels.com ad talks about the amazing breakfast but fails to mention it is only available Saturday and Sunday. What was provided to us Thursday morning rivals Super 8\. We even had to bring bottles of water down from the room for the Keurig.
