We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tremont. It is the perfect location for shopping and dining. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The lobby is a beautiful setting to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Our room was very spacious and inviting. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. We missed the roof top bar due to construction, but plan on returning when it is open if not before. The Tremont is my favorite Galveston hotel!

The staff at this gorgeous hotel are just top-notch. Galveston is such a unique place to visit and if you are interested in being on the strand side (as opposed to beach side) and you like luxury, then this hotel is your place. Ryan was particularly accommodating towards my family. We appreciate our time at The Tremont very much.

The customer service was not up to par for a Marriott. I had to wait for 45 minutes to be shuttled from the cruise terminal to Tremont hotel (7 min. drive). I was not informed that the shuttle was dropping off other guests nor was I told that he was having battery issues. The front desk workers did not try to make it right.

The hotel and staff were lovely. However, the valet parking, which you are basically forced to do, is extremely expensive and the valets are rude and incompetent. It was a very negative part of our stay there. The Tremont needs to hire another valet service of get the one they have in much better shape.

Love the decor in the rooms. The lady we met at the front desk was top notch. It's just really nice. We've stayed there twice now. The inner rooms have a really nice view into a very pretty atrium.
