"This place was easy and relaxing. Not super fancy or current, but the television worked great, and the room had a microwave and a fridge and a coffee maker. All of our needs were met. Best of all, the staff was great, very helpful and friendly. I'd stay here again. "

"The hotel was very nice and updated had great breakfast choices, love the waffles. The room was clean and quite it’s right off the 101 so it very convenient location for visiting the redwoods. Close to old town but not walkable to old town unless you want to get a long walk in. Lots of dining options nearby. We look for Holiday inn express on many of our travels because they are very predictable on what to expect."

"Beds are so comfortable, quiet, clean an all-arou and nice place to stay if your in the area. Hotel also has a great pool, hot tub and the gym is extremely clean. The service and food were good at the casino restaurant. I would return when in the area. "

"While all of the staff were friendly, Jessica at the front desk really helped make our stay enjoyable. Her quick and friendly customer service was really appreciated as she recommended a great restaurant, Shamus Steakhouse, and always had a smile. Their hot tub there was also truly hot, not just luke-warm like most places. It was a great place to stay!"

"I got this room for an early flight out of the airport. The airport was very close, and it made it much easier for me to fly out. And as often as flights are delayed out of the Arcata airport, it is nice to have something close by."
