"there was some construction activity on other side of lake that was a bit intrusive of the peacefulness; the one bathroom is attached to master bedroom, so that guest had to walk through master to use the toilet. (minor inconvenience); eating options were at quite a distance, since the grille at the closest marina is closed M&T. I would recommend making this obvious in the listing, but the view was wonderful and I spent the day reading on the porch, which was very relaxing."

"Well the VRBO website was down so check in was difficult and the owner was unavailable at the time we arrived. The cabin inside was clean but you should plan on bringing TP, paper towel and things like that. (There are stores nearby ) The control for the AC is not in the downstairs cabin where we stayed so we got hot at night and the porch facing the lake had not been swept or cleaned in awhile. The price and the location made up for the inconveniences so I’d definitely book again."

Beautiful property, lots of wildlife and an all around perfect place to casually enjoy the outdoors just north of Birmingham. "It started off great while booking and asking questions was answered quickly. Once we arrived we had to go around and plug up everything in the house. Online says there is a jacuzzi or jetted tub however it doesnt work. I contacted the owner and they said they were sorry and the wife would answer me before my departure on what she can do to make it right. That was the last i heard from them. "Great location to Barber Motorsports track ( 30 mins). Plenty of parking - we had 4 mustangs. Quiet neighbor. Within 5 mins of most Shopping needs - Santo coffee 2 min drive and GREAT!"
