“The cabin was perfectly comfy and cozy. It was just enough room for my wife and I, plus our little dog. The cabin was decorated nicely, nothing too fancy, but it was very accommodating. The cabin had a ceiling fan that circulated the air and keeping it from getting stuffy. There is an additional floor fan that oscillates. Good sized fridge, microwave, oven, gas stove, there is a Keurig coffee maker but I had a hard time figuring out how to use it, and what buttons to push to get it to brew,...

“Super peaceful. Clean. Super comfy beds. Waterfront location was great. Would stay here again. Pan selection was a bit limited (can’t bring your own due to having an invection stovetop) and only plastic wine glasses available (makes sense for when down by water), so if you’re a wine snob, bring your own glassware. ”

“Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids. “Really enjoyed our stay at this property. The property was clean and our host reached out consistently to answer potential questions. The location is appealing as it was close to the Lake Tahoe attraction but located in a quiet neighborhood amidst plenty of beautiful trees. Best summary I can provide is no one wanted to leave at checkout time.”
