“Unfortunately after checking in, discovered a bed bug and contacted Expedia for refund as there was no way we were staying there. The front office was already closed and Expedia hasn’t been able to get ahold of the hotel to get my money refunded. It’s been almost a week and no update on status. I wanted to support since it’s a veteran owned business but service response has been terrible and the cleanliness was less than desired.”

“Overall clean, but bed was squeaky, property showed it's age, and for the money I don't know if it was worth it as it was a premium to some of the other options in town.”

“House is a remodeled turn of the century 1900s) farmhouse, with plenty of history and modern touches. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided. Beautiful property and close enough to town to explore. Enough bedrooms for 8. Quiet place to relax. Will stay again!”

“The converted jail was such an interesting and unique place to stay. The property is beautiful, the house and room were clean and inviting, and the cell block was a great place to hang out and explore. We loved morning coffee on the balcony and the fabulous whirlpool tub for relaxing. Make sure to check out the incredible food at the local Algerian restaurant, and a lovely river walk, or explore the four story antique mall in town!”

“First time using Vrbo and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The space was a cute little spot right off the main road, making it super easy to get to everything. The house was clean, well-lit, and had such a cozy feel - especially the super comfy bed. The host was incredibly easy to communicate with and very quick to respond, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Would definitely stay again!”
