“We arrived at the VRBO after a bit of difficulty locating the house number as we were not aware of the house number and a letter after it…maybe 7E or something like that. We also thought once you entered the lockbox code the door would unlock. It took quite some time after a cousin drove up to advise there is a key inside the lockbox. Not easy to open. The apartment was very cool and we had to notify the owner who was good enough to come by and advise heat on timers. We asked for that to be……

“The Granary is in a secluded location ideal for relaxing, the upstairs sitting room. Is very well equipped with a library of books lots of comfy seating options and plenty of dvds, videos and board games. The kitchen is well equipped and very comfortable, I particularly enjoyed the personal touches in the form of the artwork. We found the bedrooms spacious and spotlessly clean, the single mattresses are very firm. The bathroom is clean and the shower worked well. The hosts were friendly……

“Great location, fabulous views of the rolling hills and loch, together with a real sense of 'getting away from it all'. The downstairs of the cottage was cosy and adequately equipped. We particularly enjoyed the open fire that was set up ready to go, we only had to light it and there was plenty of spare wood to burn. A point for our own learning is that next time we will select somewhere that does not welcome pets as many parts of the upstairs did smell like dogs were there before us. So much so……
