Fields, Afon Ganol The road to Bryn Pydew climbs steeply away from Cystennin Road and the low-lying fields by the Afon Ganol which can be seen winding towards the bridge for Dinarth Hall. Ironically the Afon Ganol now flows to Glan Conwy SH8076, the exact reverse of the flow of the Afon Conwy which came through the Mochdre gap in late-glacial times when its route to the sea was blocked by ice.

“The Coach House is a lovely property with incredible views. The property was immaculate and lots of consideration given to travellers. The welcome pack was much appreciated and Chris could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. I loved the upside down style and it did not affect the views. “The cottage was very quiet and remote yet the road is no problem at all. It has a stunning view and there’s a walk route where you can explore nearby villages and farm. The cottage owner was friendly and accommodating. She prepared freshly baked scones, milk, coffee, tea, sugar ready on our arrival. She checked on us as well twice to make sure we’re okay.
