Relaxing

Very nice place to stay for a week with our family. Well stocked, plenty of space, and the use of the paddle boat and kayaks was such a gift! Fished right off the dock and caught plenty of fish! Water temp was perfect.

Great quiet lake and sandy beach

The sandy beach area was awesome for our 10 month old and 3 year old. Loved the paddleboarding and kayaking in the mornings and evenings. Great take off point for day trips (South Haven, Grand Rapids, Holland).

Comfortable Lakehouse Getaway

We had a memorable time with our two kids, ages 4 and 2. Great hosts! The house was well-equipped and very clean. Plus, the neighbors were so friendly and helpful. Our kids enjoyed playing in the sand and fishing off the dock. We also loved the new fire pit/patio. Perfect location, as it was easy to do frequent trips to South Haven and other areas.

Quiet Getaway

We enjoyed this property as it was very quiet and relaxing. The house is very neat and clean and everything was as advertised. We entertained friends and family during the day and had quiet nights upon their departure. Highly recommend this property if the description fits your needs.

Fantastic!

Our family stayed for a long weekend and couldn't have asked for a better place! It was an awesome, clean, beautiful house right on the water with our own beach and dock! Very nice area also. Our hosts greeted us and made us feel comfortable. We would definitely recommend this property. Thank you so much!

Grandparents/Grandsons lake vacation

The place was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and very lake decor. The fire pit was very nice along with the beach. Our 13 year old grandson loved all the outdoor activities the 10 year old enjoyed catching alot of fish and the 3 year old played at the beach. The firpit was great for making smores. Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed watching the kids have sooooooo much fun. Thank you again for sharing your lake house you differently are fantastic host.

A beautiful stay

My family (parents, husband, and 2 boys) had a wonderful week at Duck Lake! It was such a quiet lake, it felt like we were the only ones there multiple times during the week. All the neighbors we met were super friendly and kind to us during our stay. We ended up packing too much stuff because Mike and Holly had so many extra things (paper towel, trash bags, k cups) I would highly recommend!

Perfect spot for our girls' week!

We loved our week at Duck Lake! The cottage is beautiful, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The lake was so calm and lovely. It was perfect for kayaking everyday. The location was great for day trips to Saugatuck and South Haven for Lake Michigan beaches, wineries and shopping. We met and chatted with many friendly neighbors. It was easy to communicate with the host. Mike was very responsive and accommodating.

Great Lake house

The lake house was great! The description on the website matches the property. It was an easy check in process and was able to communicate with the owners easily. My kids enjoyed being able to swim, kayak, and paddle board. The owners also provided a book to help cover some basic things to know, like local shopping & restaurants. It was quiet during the week, which is what we were looking for in order to relax and enjoy being with the family.

Sad to go

We had such an amazing experience from start to finish. Communication with Mike and Holly was easy and quick. They had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The cottage was just as the picture suggest. It was clean and the location was perfect. We did two day trips to Tunnel Park Beach (Holland) and South Haven. The neighbors were so friendly and eager to help with suggestions. My husband brought his fishing boat but I think he did better fishing off the dock (bass and bluegill). My 3 yr old daughter had a blast making sand castles and splashing on the shore. We can’t wait to go back again next year …. Or the fall?! ❤️

Perfect Cottage On The Lake

This property was exactly as advertised. The house was very clean and well organized. The decore was a very nice beach/lake theme. The furniture was clean and of good quality. There was so much to do at the property! Our children enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. We enjoyed sitting around a fire, and hanging out on the deck. The check-in process was quick and easy. We did not need to contact the property manger because we had no needs. Everything was perfect! The location was great for us. We were about 30 miles from South Haven and Saugatuck. We went to Paw Paw to visit a winery. We also went zip lining across Lake Kalamazoo! This property was perfect for us! We hope to visit again in the future.

Great house for a relaxing lake vacation!

We had a wonderful time at Mike and Holly's lake house. The property was exactly as described. It was very clean, had comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and great outdoor amenities! We spent most of our time outdoors, enjoying the beauty of the lake, taking the kayaks out, and sitting around the fire pit. The sandy beach is especially nice for little ones (we have a 4 year old), so they can build sand castles and splash around in the shallow/walk-in water without having to get all the way in. Bonus, the neighbors were super friendly and made us feel right at home, which let our little ones make some new friends to play with while visiting! Mike was so easy to communicate with. He responded quickly to all questions and even provided a welcome book with all kinds of information about the house and the area, complete with restaurant and activity recommendations. Based on their suggestions we ate at Old Mill Brewpub one night and it was fantastic, and went blueberry picking at a local farm only 10 minutes away one afternoon. The house is a short half an hour drive into South Haven, so we were able to take a day trip into town as well! We had a wonderful trip and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy lake house for your family or small group. Hope to be back!

Great Relaxing Week

The property was perfect for week long vacation! The beach and the water was perfect for my kids to play in. They loved jumping off the dock into the water. The fishing was amazing off the dock as well, we caught so many bass, sunfish and bluegill. Mike was super easy to communicate with and took care of everything. The neighborhood is nice and quiet as well. Thanks for a great week!
