"Community kitchens were very cool but we didn’t know about this until we arrived. Also we had to call for our codes to let us in to the hotel & room from the parking garage. We chose this hotel because they had an onsite secure garage however it does cost $15 to park there in addition to your room but we never gave our plate numbers and had to call to get another code to exit the garage. No one at check in desk - just called a number. Which was fine but she didn’t offer information so we had to call again. Never found the ice machine. And the fitness equipment isn’t adjustable for shorter people like myself (5ft tall) and I really wanted to use the bike and exercise by knee after knee surgery as they really helps me get through my day. Would be so nice if they had some breakfast items besides coffee and tea available. They have the space to provide this."

"Lovely hotel with a slightly retro feel to it in the West Central area of St. Louis near Forest Park. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Would look to stay there again if going to be in the part of St. Louis."

"This is a classic hotel in St. Louis, we had a nice stay and good service, I would say it could use a little updating, especially in the bathrooms."

"There was plenty of parking, AC worked like a dream, the beds were super comfy, and the staff was so kind, patient, and helpful. The only thing we were sad about was the pool. It wasn't dirty, it just looked a little too green and we don't know why. We didn't ask or press the issue because honestly we were out of the hotel for most of the time we were there. It may have been perfectly fine. We saw someone else getting ready to get into it. We were going to be checking in really late and they accommodated us. We got down to breakfast late one day, and they patiently waited for us to finish. We stayed for two nights. We had one bedroom with two queen size beds and it did not feel like the four of us were on top of each other, there was so much space! Overall good experience!!"
