One night the other people in the shared room talked to each other until midnight, it's a hostal, I get that. But then I was woken up at 4am and they kept making until I asked after an hour for them to stop. She did but he kept making noises until they started talking again. Later, he peed on the toilet seat and the floor and they stole the toilet...

"Illa Experience Hotel is an absolutely beautiful property with both historic and modern elements. Our room (a second floor suite with views of the charming street) was incredibly spacious and well appointed. Indeed, the entire hotel was renovated with thoughtful details. The service was off the charts... seriously - the kindest, most helpful staff ever. They went out of their way to make our stay a pampered one - from accommodating a late check out to sourcing needed medicine in Quito. And the view from the second floor bar of the hills and the Angel of Quito was breathtaking. What a treat!"

"Hotel is an great location for the historic centre of Quito and was really clean and comfortable.
My only issue was the rooms all overlooked the reception in a courtyard style and the door is always locked. So guests need to ring a buzzer to access the property, then when the door is opened a bell goes off. While this is not a problem in the day, when people come and go at night or early in the morning it does wake you up.
A small issue in a great little hotel."

"From the moment we walked through the doors at Wantara Suites we felt like we were home!! It’s close enough to everything (or a 10 minute taxi ride) but yet it feels like you’re staying in a cottage surrounded by a beautiful garden. I seriously can’t say enough about this property!! From the owners Wolfgang & his always smiling wife to Claudia (the property manager) everyone was super welcoming & they felt like family to us!! I would stay here again & again!!! "

"Very welcoming and communicative hosts via messages. We loved the apartment and it's in a very quiet area but just a 5-10 min walk to the historical center with squares and cathedrals. The beds were comfy, the showers clean and warm, and the apartment was so beautiful and had tons of character. Would absolutely stay here again! "
"I had a really enjoyable stay here at Hotel Sucre for 3 nights. The staff were very welcoming upon arrival. Shirley was brilliant. The rooms were very modern, clean and spacious. The towels were new and clean also. I felt very safe as the hotel had a guard who was also very helpful. Food options were great with choices of dishes and drinks. I used the laundry service which was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend staying here. The location is excellent, 1 minute walk to the Metro and only 3 minutes to the main square. "
