“The house was spacious and the lake is beautiful and clean. Lots of fridge space. Very nice swimming water. I wish the beach in front of the house was cleaned out so you could swim directly from the sand but you could avoid the water grass and lily pads by jumping off the dock. Appreciated the kayaks. It was a hot weekend and more beach shade would have been nice so maybe bring an umbrella. Sitting on the deck was very pleasant. The neighbors were very friendly. “The location was great and the management company was extremely easy to work with. The unit does need some updates. The kitchen table and chairs were not comfortable and the carpet were pretty worn. The space was fine for 2 people and the kitchen was well equipped (except may need to get some more forks).”

“There were a lot of extras supplied by the host. They had toys in the laundry area, along with games and puzzles that my grandkids could play. They also supplied soaps, shampoo, etc, which I will have to keep in mind for the next time. Less to pack! Rockford unfortunately experienced 10 inches of snow, and with our early checkout, we had to shovel out. But we got a 50 dollar reimbursement, which was very kind. With all the extras, I would suggest labels on the cabinets and their content. I……

“Bed was comfy with nice sheets. Loved that they had shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash even though we brought our own. Also had soap for laundry and dishes...and extra trash bags. I have been places where you had to get all your own supplies.”

“To me a comfy bed and cleanliness is the most important thing and this home was SPOTLESS! Beautifully cleaned and well maintained. We enjoyed a walk along the river right out the back door. I do hope to be able to return someday.”

“The breakfast serving area could get quite crowded, but the food offered was fresh and tasty with a nice variety to choose from. We were there with several family members, and there was plenty of room for all of us to eat breakfast, plus there was a great patio area off the pool where we could meet for a meal and to visit. The rooms were all very spacious and well equipped. The only improvement I would suggest would be to make the parking spaces wider. With so many people driving trucks and……

“This is a nice little hotel. Well kept and centrally located. It’s small but has a full common area with a kitchen plus balconies overlooking the river. Good value for the money. And while I never saw any staff, I was given codes for doors which were easy to use, WiFi codes and numbers to call if I needed anything.”
