"Je nach Jahreszeit und Wetter sind die Bedingungen optimal zum Baden und zum Wandern, insbesondere mit eigenem Hund. Das Hotel erlaubt das Mitführen von Hunden und bietet hierfür hervorragende Voraussetzungen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, da das Hotel am Ende einer Sackgasse liegt. Man ist zu Fuß schnell im Wald entlang des Saaletals. Wanderwege gibt es ausreichend. Im Hotel Saalestrand gibt es vielseitige Spielmöglichkeiten für Familien mit und ohne Kinder.
