“Cabin was cute and well appointed. The goats and chickens were so much fun to watch!”

“This was our second time back at this residence and it was even better than the first. The first time, I booked the Bass Lodge for my husbands birthday weekend and we had an amazing time fishing all weekend despite the rainy weather. The cabin is soooo cozy and perfect for groups or a family. Lots of room! We fell in love with the place, we had to come back for Fathers Day weekend with the rest of our girls. They had a blast fishing and going on the boat. We spent our time grilling, making……

“Cozy tent in a fairly private area. Host was most accommodating. She helped us with directions to the tent, we were in the right area but didn’t see it because the tent was hidden from view. The rocky road will split into three ways, the tent is on the left. Expect a tent, but with an ac unit/heat, bed, a toilet and tub. It is not completely sealed, so outside temperature will affect the inside temperature. There’s also an outdoor shower. Trees are very near the tent, so expect natures’ bugs……

Unfortunately the condition of the house as far as cleanliness put a damper in our short stay vacation. The house was full of flies and two rolls of fly catchers were left in living room windows full or flies- we spent a good chunk of the day swapping flies in the kitchen. The counters and fridge were very dirty and sticky. The fridge had a sticky soda that may have popped inside, the bathroom……

“This property was very accommodating and so cute!! The space was compact but there were all the amenities: patio picnic table, mini bbq egg, full shower, cozy sitting room and Roku tv.”

“My sister, nieces and I absolutely LOVED the palace on the pond!! It was a delightfully quiet area with all kinds of animal watching!! The house was perfect! The deck was perfect! Will definitely stay there again!!!”

“If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, Cabin #2 near Lake Tawakoni is a fantastic choice. The location is hard to beat—being right on the water makes it easy to relax and leave the stress of everyday life behind. One of my favorite parts was being able to fish right off the pier whenever I wanted. Having the Quack Shack restaurant located right on the pier was another nice bonus. The food was good, and it was incredibly convenient to grab a meal without having to leave the property. The……

“I think I lucked out and found the best value for money around. Way better than a hotel. Really nice people too. ”
