"This rental is tucked away in a very small town surrounded by mountains and forest. Peaceful and secluded, but easy enough to travel to a larger town for supplies. The property itself has a strong feeling of a family cabin, which it is, so it's easy to feel right at home. This was our second stay, and very likely not our last. "

"We had another wonderful stay on the lake with our dogs! Cottage was just as great as it was 3 years ago & the new owners were lovely! Excellent communication, cottage was clean and cozy, as described with a few upgrades! We loved sitting on the enclosed porch or gated deck with a drink after a hike or mountain bike ride & our dogs just relaxed on their beds looking at the beautiful lake view. The community beach was a great way to cool off after the days activities & the BBQ grill was perfect...

The bath towels were plush and large. We would absolutely stay here again. There are a few things to be aware of. There was a raised wood strip between the wood floor in the kitchen to the wood floor in the living area. Until we got used to this, we "tripped" over the strip a few times. "The room was clean, instructions for entry were provided and worked. The only interaction with staff was by email, and that was fine. The room is not elaborate, and pretty dark. It has some quirks...many appliances on extension cords, interesting bathroom plumbing with a touchy head adjustment on shower valve...but everything worked fine, and met our needs very well for this trip. We had no complaints. "
