“We enjoyed our two night stay immensely. How could we not, with a lovely view of Good Harbor Beach and a seven minute walk to get there. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and welcoming. The property is clean, attractive and well maintained and the Continental Breakfast was well-stocked and appreciated. The ONLY downsides: the water, which took several minutes to get hot (which they made us aware of at check-in) and the shower which was a bit crowded with the soap dispensers on the wall. And……

“We loved everything about this place! The room had a nice layout. The Roku TVs were easy to use and it was great that we could easily sign into our own streaming service accounts. The refrigerator had a Brito water container with filter. The room also had a small counter top stove, a microwave and a coffee maker. The only complaint that I had was that I got pretty warm in the bed despite having the AC set to 65 degrees. There was no fan in the bedroom.”

“The best thing about this property is the location. It was a short walk (10 minutes or so) from Rockport Center and Bearskin Neck. The beach view and parking were great. Those things are certainly worth a premium, but I do not think it's worth the $419.99 per night pre-Memorial Day we paid. “My daughter and I stayed at The Cabot Lodge, on 4/14/26, for an overnight stay, before a college tour at Endicott College. I originally wanted to stay at the hotel on the grounds of Endicott College, but no rooms were available. In the end, I was glad that we didn’t get a room on the college grounds. “Our overall stay was fantastic! The location is perfect — you’re right in the middle of everything Salem has to offer, and everything is within a short walking distance. I’d definitely recommend paying for the parking; it made things much easier instead of having to search for a spot.
