“We paid $330 a night. The reviews make this place seem nice. No elevator meaning we had to lug our suitcases up a flight of stairs, wall air conditioning barely worked it became extremely hot in the middle of the night, no iron, free breakfast was cereal and oatmeal, there was no staff to call after 10 PM, and when we checked out no one again to talk to. Seriously, we paid less to stay in way better hotels in Telluride, Aspen, and Manitou Springs. Don’t stay here?”

“Hotel was a morgue in early 1900s, and was advised by staff and casino employees sometimes see a female ghost playing the slot machines, fascinating history of casino and town.”

“Super welcoming. Free stores at night. Free amazing breakfast in the morning. Views are amazing. Bed and pillows are incredible!”

“Cheapest place in Cripple Creek. Have stayed around 10 times while we build in the area. Mostly just fine for the price. Always the little things at one time or the other. Unattended dogs, shower dispensers empty, no key will work, weird pillows. They took care of the dispensers and even comped my room once as the dog never shut up. Still my place!”

“Stayed here as we were in town for a festival. Served its purpose and was relatively clean but outdated. Hot tub was a disappointment as the jets didn’t work and maintenance couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Also the enclosure around the hot tub is in poor shape and needs to be removed as it is broken down and was moving quite a bit due to the wind”

“We stayed at this hotel over the 4th of July weekend. We are so grateful to have found this place! It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Our 2 dogs were welcomed with a low nightly pet fee! The hot tub was amazing. We will definitely be back!”

“The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and the air conditioning kept the tiny home cool all day long. The shower provided perfect control over water temperature, while the large windows offered stunning mountain views and filled the space with natural light. It was a truly peaceful stay.”
