“Property was fine but there are no amenities. The pool and spa advertised are in another hotel. No coffee. The shuttle stops at 8 on Saturday night”

“Very clean and comfortable room. Ample parking. Breakfast was very disappointing- the bare minimum and the coffee was almost not drinkable. The room was $190 and I could have stayed Tru by Hilton in Colorado Springs which has an AMAZING breakfast for $100 less!!”

“Hotel was a morgue in early 1900s, and was advised by staff and casino employees sometimes see a female ghost playing the slot machines, fascinating history of casino and town.”

Loved they had a vhs player in our room and a great selection to choose from at the front desk - even though you can watch them all on a streaming service, it was nostalgic to enjoy a movie night that way. The booking site mentioned breakfast from 8-10, but it looked like granola bars and fruit… not a big deal for us, but maybe it should be updated as that could be misleading. We would definitely book a future stay there if we are in……

“The only difficulty is the stairs for elderly people. The access from Ann Street is helpful but the stair railing should go all the way to the street. I would recommend a quality control person check every room to evaluate maintenance. ”

“Glorious stay! Be sure to visit during a beautiful snow, its phenomenal! Michael and Rick are great hosts. Rick makes excellent biscuits and gravy and provides an amazing, and slightly creepy, tour of this old county hospital. Large comfy room and lots to look at and enjoy about the history of the area. Take your time and enjoy the spaces!”

“Someone was doing laundry until 2am the laundry room is right beside the bedroom and the walls are thin it was very upsetting the door going inside the laundry room from our little apartment had a padlock on it”
