"Beautifully appointed, amazingly comfortable beds, the views from every area of this hotel are lovely on top of being a green environmentally sustainable space, this hotel has it all. Budget conscious & Family friendly."
"Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. Great jumping off point to see sites on this side of the island (Hilo, Volcano, towns that existed a few years ago but then were taken by lava). Don't miss Uncle Robert's on Wednesday night with other locals. It was a great time. Also, the Lava Flow museum in Pahoa was really interesting and the local guide there explained a lot about how the lava impacted her life."
