We liked the location, cleanliness, and smooth check‑in process. The only drawback was the missing curtain on the master bedroom door leading to the balcony — it didn’t bother us, but some guests might find it inconvenient to sleep past dawn.

Absolutely loved the cabin and the location! The floorplan was so perfect with 2 bedrooms down and master up. We took advantage of the master balcony for coffee and sunrise. Every room was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. Games to entertain the kids came in handy on the rainy day. Thanks for the great stay!

Great stay

Beautiful cabin, amazing star gazing and wildlife, not to far from popular sites is what you will find with this cabin. Enjoyed are stay.

Nature lovers' paradise

The overall stay was great. The property is centrally located to a lot of area activities, but off the beaten path, which we loved. It is very clean and maintained, and it felt like home away from home. We would stay again if we were ever in the area.

We had an amazing stay. Check-in process was very easy. Everyone in our group was impressed with the clean and nice the house was. It is a little drive to get places, but the scenery is beautiful, and the seclusion is well worth it! Thanks for a great stay!

The property was as listed. Very clean and was well supplied. The wildlife was very nice to see on a daily basis. The ping pong table was a joy. It has been a long time since I played. The only thing that I was unhappy with was the dirt roads leading up to the property. ( which is not the owners fault) . Quiet outside on the porch at night was beautiful. Taking in the stars at night and the clean air. This home was one of the best ones that I have been at. Thanks.

Great Black Hills Getaway

The lodging was beautiful and secluded. We absolutely loved the accommodations and the daily visit from the deer and turkeys. Great access to all the surrounding locations for site seeing. Fantastic hosts and wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful trip and loved property. Very unique house in a beautiful setting. Off grid but with all the comforts and amenities of home. Host was very helpful and accommodating. If we ever have chance to visit Black Hills again I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else.It was a 25-30 minute ride to Mt Rushmore but a beautiful ride. If you're looking for serene and secluded this is a great rental. Just be sure to plan provisioning ahead of time. Rapid City Walmart is probably 45 minute drive. Nearest shop is 20-25 minute ride.Loved staying here, great memories. Hope to visit again.

The house was perfect for our needs. It was very quiet and always nice to see the turkeys in the mornings.
