"Our room (325, King bed with lake view) was clean, spacious and comfortable. Hotel location is excellent, a couple minutes walk to the ferries, good restaurants, shops and even the Victoria Wood theater (fun show!). The staff was courteous and unobtrusive. The breakfast was plentiful - and “unhurried” to get a table and to get the cooked food. We hope to stay again someday."

"This is the best hotel I have stayed in for a very long time. Every single detail was perfect. Staff were attentive, room and property beautifully maintained and clean. Food was amazing. Spa was so relaxing and enjoyable. We will certainly be back. Only tiny thing I would change if I could - free parking for guests. That’s all. £12 a night was a bit expensive when we had two nights. Still amazing and all the positivities out weighed that."

"Had a great long weekend, well kept grounds, room larger than expected & spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice on offer. Plenty to choose from on the dinner menu also & food cooked to perfection. Cannot believe this is only rated 3 stars, at the very least it should be 4 star. We will return again."

"The hotel was very clean and all the staff most helpful. Breakfast and other meals were well presented. Unfortunately the hotel is built on a steep slope and the frequency of stairs was a problem for us elderly persons, but we would use this hotel again. Thank you for a pleasant week "
