“I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! This level of attention to detail continued throughout my stay and nothing was too much trouble. The food served on the premises was cooked to a high……

“Room was well appointed and clean. Bed was comfy and shower was powerful and hot. Water, coffee and biscuits along with a selection of tea's in the room. Views from the room were good, it's a quiet area. Staff here are polite and welcoming, whether they are serving you or just passing by. We paid for breakfast, lots of choice for cold breakfast, really is something for everyone. Hot breakfast was to order, we could pretty much choose anything. Food could and should have been hotter considering……

“We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. ”

“Had a lovely one night stay in cottage 3. Room was clean and quite with lovely views. Only thing missing was a curtain/blind for the small bathroom window but other than that perfect. Will definitely stay again.”

“Nobody told me there's activity beside Hotel. All road block and we can't access to hotel after dinner. The road resume almost at 10pm and we spend 2 hours wait outside. Its troublesome to my family. I must complaint to IHS office for the negligence of Hotel staff.”

“A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it……
