“The property itself was lovely. However, during my two day stay, the water temperature in my room's en suite bathroom was cold, and then tepid, both for the basin and shower. “My second stay here. A really good place to stay with a great Italian restaurant attached. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Free parking too. A nice pub down the road selling a great pint of ale. Dartmouth Park is close by and lovely to walk around. "The hotel located near the childern hospital and within 10-15mins walking distance of the city centre. Room price was fair and clean. However, there were limited amenities available in the premise. One thing really bugged me was that the staff working there ( both reception and F&B) did not have unified uniform. Some female staff, as I recalled, were even having their long hair flowing down to the waist without being tight up while touching food items, utensils and serving us breakfast. I am not sure how the managements see HACCP standard in this particular Holiday Inn, but it was a definite NO ! This really puts me off in going there again even though the reception staff were genuinely friendly during my stay! "
