“Although the reception, library room and breakfast area were fine this hotel is in need of renovation. We stayed two nights and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Especially Julia on the front desk. Our beds were large and comfortable but the room was dated with taps not working and the toilet hard to flush. Breakfast was adequate. We didn’t use the bar but it looked like a Wetherspoons. The hotel is set in nice countryside with quick access to the main road. It could be much better……
