“This is a great cabin for a romantic getaway. We didn't use the kitchen except the small fridge, but it was nice that a stove top was available. The water heater is great and definitely large enough to fill the big tub. We appreciated being able to bring our dog and the fee was reasonable. Thanks for a nice weekend :)”

“EXPEDIA miss represented these cabins… Look at the company, upper canyon lodging website ahead of time. When booking through Expedia you don’t really know which cabin you’re going to get assigned to. Aside from that. These cabins definitely aren’t worth the money you’re going to pay for. You’ll get one towel, it’s pretty dirty. On the bright side, it’s in a great area, it has great amenities… I guess it’s cozy… it was great to take all my crap out of my truck from my long road trip and clean up……

“Love Ruidosa and the cabin is in a great location to all the shops. Hopefully they will get the fireplace working soon. But much better and more comfortable than staying at a hotel.”

“Everything was great except the ac.. the room where really hot we had to sleep with the windows open for boths rooms with my kids and that was not comfortable..”

“The location was good and living room was nice for game nights. Host was quick with responses and good communication. Stove and microwave were new and great but there was a lot of down sides to the rest of our stay. The hot tub was extremely dirty as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. We had to purchase our own nets to clean it ourselves and the chlorine was crystallized at the bottom. There was some water damage and mold on the roof. 2 out of 6 smoke detectors worked. There wasn’t any baking……

“Perfect little getaway spot! 2 people and a dog fit nicely if you’re open to a small space. Well appointed and modern. The bathroom area is quite small so just be prepared for that. The wrap around porch was lovely to relax all day. Quiet surroundings and wildlife all around. I’d come back every weekend if I could!”

“The cabin was exactly as listed. It was such a pleasant stay. Everything you might need is there. The back deck was our go to for relaxing and watching the deer and elk come right up to the back lawn was awesome. I have been to Ruidoso 6 times in 7 years and Doc’s place was by far the best place for the money. I will definitely stay again and will recommend it to others. The only thing I might suggest is to put a tv in the other two bedrooms, but that won’t deter me from staying here again.”
