“It is very unique; located in a quaint town of very friendly people. From our window we saw deer, wild turkey, and a really cool buzzard's roost in a dead tree downslope from our cabin. Hot Springs was our base of operations while we visited Wind Cave NP, The Mammoth Site, Evans Plunge pool, Devils Tower NM, Spearfish Canyon Scenic Drive, Badlands NP, Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore NM and Crazy Horse Memorial!!! Laundry facility for guests was exceptional and very clean. Visiting with Robin……

“Such a great little place. Sat by the gas firepit in the evening and had coffee at the picnic table with mountain views in the morning. ”

“Very accommodating. Didn’t like first room in motel. Drab, noisy. Explained to check in staff and was moved to log cabin with King bed and bath and parking space outside door. Still small but very nice and comfortable. Fridge, microwave , desk, chair, tv. I would suggest booking directly with Powder House yo avoid confusion about room. Price in off season reasonable ( the same or less). ”

“There weren't any kitchen facilities in my cabin. The room was very clean. The staff was wonderful, very friendly, helpful and always available for any questions. I never did figure out how to use the heater in the room. It wasn't too cold, but i could have gotten the chill out of the room. Too nice to use the AC. ”
