“The house was very clean and the rooms were well appointed. There were ample towels. The hot tub and sauna were great. The Wi-Fi was subpar. I would recommend to the host that they put a booster in the unit. If you want to get away from everything, this is an ideal place to disconnect. If you need to work remotely, the Wi-Fi does not stay on and it’s very spotty. You can stream a movie, but you can’t watch anything live on television. Also make sure that you bring extra toiletries with you and……

“We felt we were being watched the entire time. We were awoken around midnight to children banging on the adjoining door and wall. We could here crying and a child crying and stating "We are locked in this room and cant get out" As soon as i turned the light on in our room it went absolutely silent. “It is very unique; located in a quaint town of very friendly people. From our window we saw deer, wild turkey, and a really cool buzzard's roost in a dead tree downslope from our cabin. Hot Springs was our base of operations while we visited Wind Cave NP, The Mammoth Site, Evans Plunge pool, Devils Tower NM, Spearfish Canyon Scenic Drive, Badlands NP, Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore NM and Crazy Horse Memorial!!! Laundry facility for guests was exceptional and very clean. Visiting with Robin……

“This cabin is cute, clean, modern, cozy, and very comfortable. It met every single need we had with us and worked great with a one year old. The water pressure was amazing... this is important to me! Bed was very comfy and we loved how secluded we felt even so close to town. “The Pondside Lodge was a splendid place to stay for our trip to South Dakota! The lodge is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The living room picture window looks out over the pond and the Needles are clearly visible in the distance. It is a very relaxing location - quiet and lovely.
