Houston Community College - Energy Corridor Tours

I chose this hotel because it was near the airport and I was unfamiliar with Houston. Huge mistake on my part and I should have done better research. The area where the hotel is located is not the best. The building is situated off a back road, and the GPS wasn't able to pick up on how to get there coming from the direction of the airport. I drove around for a while until I was able to find an alternate side street to enter from. Someone had their car window busted in the parking lot of the hotel the night I checked in, which was frightening. Police were outside early the next morning taking the guy's statement, but of course nothing could be done. The room was not the cleanest, either. I initially noticed it with the bathroom, where there was hair all over and the shower was stained. Then, I could tell that the sheets hadn't been changed from the previous guests, because there were loose strands of hair in the bed! I have short hair and these were long, curly strands, plus I had yet to sleep in the bed, so I knew it wasn't mine. I arrived fairly late that night and had it not been for the fact that I'd prepaid, I would have checked out immediately.
