I like everything… the service… area… the city view… decor… Bluetooth in the bathroom mirror so you can listen to music while getting dressed… No way around valet parking… just pay it or don’t even bother to stay downtown anywhere…

Long story short my wife and I checked in at the Cambria on 3/14/23. The room was nice and clean as expected. The next morning, we decided to grab breakfast before checking out. We had our newborn with us, so to make things easier, we took our main luggage to the car but left our toiletries and a few baby things in the hotel. When we got back to the hotel right before 11A.M., we came to an empty room due to housekeeping coming and clearing everything else out! This was very upsetting because it was not check out time yet(12P.M.) and we left the Do Not Disturb sign on our door and they trashed the remaining of our belongings, including my wife's expensive prescription glasses and contacts, some colognes, medicine, etc. I went and spoke with management about this but it couldve been avoided if they would've honored our Do Not Disturb request. And they claim they had our belongings put up which made no sense when they could've just left them in the room. And to make things worse they handed it to us in a trash bag which makes me feel like they just got our things out of the garbage which really disgusted us. This put such a bad taste in our mouths that we will not be booking another stay here in the future.

The experience was absolutely amazing. No noise, very clean, convenient in downtown Houston. Although I was not greeted upon checking in, the staff upon checkout were attentive and warm and so FRIENDLY… it’s for that reason I will definitely be back

The staff was friendly but we had 2 problems with charges. The first was at the bar, I ordered a glass of wine and was charged for a bottle (another woman was supposed to be charged $24 and she was charged $2400!!!). They later corrected that charge. The second issue was we prepaid through Expedia and Cambria charged us again. We are disputing that charge.

Everything about the hotel was amazing. The staff, the bar, the view, the room, etc. Definitely staying here again if I need a hotel in Houston !
